Among those in attendance, Senator Joe Sam Queen was pleased to see his constituents in Raleigh.  “The visit the Chamber makes to Raleigh each year gives us an opportunity to discuss issues and concerns with leaders of the business community.  Their work is extremely important in helping Haywood County prosper.”

“Western North Carolina is a great place to live and work.  Times are tough right now and I’m honored to be able to work hard for the people of North Carolina,” added Senator John Snow.  “It’s a pleasure to speak with the members of the Haywood Chamber to hear their thoughts and concerns.”

The members were scheduled to meet with legislators in the Legislative Building the following morning.
