About Dewey Hudson
Family:
Dewey is married with two children and one young granddaughter
Education/Work Experience:
Dewey graduated from NC State University before attending law school in Alabama. From 1977 to 1998, Dewey was an Assistant District Attorney in Kenansville, NC. Since that time, Dewey has been District Attorney, representing Duplin, Jones, Onslow and Sampson counties.
Community Involvement:
Dewey has served as county chair of the NCSEA and the Wolfpack club. In 1986 he traveled to Sweden for a month as part of the Rotary International Exchange Program for eastern North Carolina. Dewey coached intramural sports and was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). He served as district chairman for Sampson and Duplin Counties of the BSA. In 2005, he was honored as the Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizen for Duplin and Sampson Counties.
