ABOUT SENATOR BRADLEY
Woodson is a mom, wife, small business owner, community leader, and tireless volunteer. Woodson graduated from Hollins University in 1995 with a degree in Economics and Business Administration, studied Environmental Economics abroad at the University of Sydney in Australia and worked as an elementary teacher through a Rotary Service Project in Lucea Bay, Jamaica. She understands the importance of business growth and public service and more importantly, why they should go hand-in-hand.

Woodson is a domestic violence survivor and advocate for families, children, and teens across NC. She currently speaks for the Mecklenburg County Domestic Violence Speakers Bureau. She's on the planning board as a survivor voice for the Mecklenburg County Family Justice Center, known as the Umbrella Center. Woodson is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte. She serves on various Rotary Committees and is an ambassador for volunteer opportunities across Charlotte.
As a CMS parent, she is extremely active within the schools. She is a certified volunteer, substitute teacher, classroom instructor across all CMS high schools and middle schools for Love Speaks Out (the teen dating violence prevention curriculum), and is the Parent Booster President for the Marine Corps JROTC Program in Mecklenburg County.

Woodson is focused on common sense solutions and challenges facing public schools, health care, civil rights, equal rights, and the local economy. She and her husband William live in the Ballantyne Area and are the proud blended parents of Shannon, Stone, and Carter.
